Project 2 Exercise 1 - Shooting Exercise

For this exercise, we were to shoot videos from different angles to showcase different type of shots that we have learnt in class. I shot the videos using my phone. After that, I imported all of them into Adobe Premier Pro to edit the different type of shots together. We were also required to lable the shots.

Project 2 Exercise 2 - Lalin

For this exercise, we were to edit the shots together according to the storyboard. I imported all the shots into Adobe Premier Pro and edited them together according to the storyboard.

After editing all the shots together, we were to use the ripple effect to trim the video to 30 seconds sharp. We also needed to colour correct the video.

Project 2 Exercise 3 - 30 Second Music Video

For this exercise, we were to group with our friends to create a 30 second music video. We decided on the song "XOXO" by Jeon Somi. I recorded my video using my phone. After recording, it was time for editing. I imported all the video recordings into Adobe Premier Pro.

After editing all the videos together, I colour graded my music video by apaplying presets to it.

Project 2 Exercise 4 - Production Shoot

For this exercise, we were to recreate the trailer of a korean drama named "Happiness". We were split into 2 groups to do the production shoot. Below are some behind the scene photos from the production shoot.

After filming everything, I imported all my video and audio files into Adobe Premier Pro. I started editing them.

After I have completed the editing, I colour corrected the scenes to match each other.

FEEDBACK
  • Music video looks good, can proceed with colour grading.
REFLECTION

This project has helped me improved my video shooting skills and also editing skills. I have learnt a lot from doing these exercises. I use to not know how to colour correct and grade, but now I know how to colour correct and grade properly. I also had lots of fun doing the production shoot with my friends. Overall, I enjoyed completing this project.
