Visual Research
Before starting my task, I did some visual research on Pinterest to see which
art direction I should go for my book.
I started illustrating my visual on Procreate after getting approval of my art
direction.
Fig 1.1 Progress 1
After getting feedback from Mr. Vinod, I revisited some of my artwork as I
had to make improvements to it.

I continued by finishing all my illustrations. I also made changes to some of
the illustrations. I changed the colours so that it would match more all
together.

FEEDBACK
Week 2
Specific Feedback: Good job on your text formatting.
Week 3
Specific Feedback: Lack of expression for the artwork. Need to
bring illustrative style more tighter so that the artwork looks more
consistent. The artstyle for the "tree" artwork looks nice. Try to
illustrate the others the same way.
Week 4
Specific Feedback: The style is certainly a lot more coherent but
the colours probably shift quite a bit. In any case, it is up to me to
make the best judgement.
Week 5:
Specific Feedback: Lack of high intensity visuals. Need to add more details.
REFLECTION
Experiences
I found that taking breaks and coming back to my work with fresh eyes was essential to maintain consistency in my style and color palette. Additionally, I learned that it's okay to experiment and iterate until I found what worked best for my book.
Observation
I observed that creating visuals that match the theme and tone of the book requires a keen eye for detail. I learned that it's not just about drawing beautiful pictures but also about making sure that each visual tells a story and enhances the text.
Findings
Creating illustrative visuals for a book can be a challenging task. One of the most significant challenges that I face is keeping a consistent style throughout all the visuals. Finding the right colors to suit the entirety of the visuals was also hard for me as I am quite bad with colours. However, I still try to keep it similar for the entirety of the visuals.
