Final Project
For this project, we were to create five (5) merchandise items including a Pop
Display based on Project 2. Before starting my design, I brainstormed on the 5
merchandises I want for my project.
Merchandises:
- Pop Display
- Apron
- Notebook
- Cutlery Set
- Cooler Bag
I looked for mockups for my merchandises before I started designing them. I
used Adobe Photoshop to make the mockup for my merchandises. I started of
with the apron and notebook.

After getting feedback from Mr Shamsul, I made changes to my notebook design and continued working on my other merchandises.

I added jackfruit and wedges icons as an emboss on my cutlery as it looks very cute and would make my cutlery set look more unique. As for my cooler bag, I just kept it simple and made a similar design to my apron by using patterns and also the product name as label.

For my pop display, I created a few designs.
Mr. Shamsul said that I do not have to put the images of the wedges on the design but instead put the product packaging instead. So I edited and improved the design of my pop display.
FEEDBACK
Week 11
REFLECTION
- Design for apron looks good but notebook design doesn't have consistency with the apron
- Can incorporate the patterns used for the apron for the notebook
Week 13
- Design for merchandises looks fine
- Improvements can be made to the design for pop display
- Can remove the wedges and add in the product packaging
REFLECTION
Creating five merchandises based on my product packaging design was an exciting and rewarding final project. The process allowed me to explore the potential of the packaging design and extend it to various merchandise items. Designing the merchandises wasn't that hard compared to designing the product packaging. All in all, this was a very nice project to end the course and I am grateful for all the things I learnt in this course.
