Assignment 1 - Research Proposal

Week 2

• Make sure to add reference for citations
• Choose a type of product for your packaging design
• Product chose should not be a necessity

Week 3

• Need to add citations to my problem statement

Week 4

• Try to avoid no date articles
• Remember to always relate it back to your research problem
• Be careful when mentioning about innovate. Refer it to graphic design innovation

Assignment 2 - Critical Review

Week 5

• Be more mindful when structuring sentences as stuff tend to be repeated 
• Critiques were clearly stated with reason
• Choice of word used in sentences helps readers to understand the crituques well

Week 6

• Way of writing is quite effective as it is not very lengthy and choices of words are good

Week 7

• Not much things to amend
• Good to go and can submit the paper

Assignment 3 - Research Implementation

Week 9

• Include literature in your justification

Week 10

• Put in what product is featured in the survey
• Add a short justification for quesiton 1 & 2
• Questions need to be change so that participants can better understand them

• Tabulate the data in one cell
• Highlight the relevant answers from the list
• Add percentages to support my summary

• Put RO and RQ side by side
• Need to have visual hierarchy for rkey literature
• Use infographic to represent data
• Add in justification why survey is suitable

• Can use lines as a guide to align your items
• Finish your script for the slides before moving on to the next slides when recording

REFLECTION

Experience

Overall, my experience for this subject has been pretty good. When I started this module, I had no clue what research is. After completing the module, I have gained a lot of knowledge about research. However, this still does not deny the fact that I do not like research. But knowledge is knowledge, and I am always grateful that I can learn new things and gain knowledge from them. There were ups and downs and even very stressful moments when completing this module, but I managed to endure and persevere. I am really glad I was able to complete the module in one piece.

Observation

Throughout this module, I observed that I have been very patient when doing my work. This is because I realize that research cannot be rushed. When rushed, there would be a lot of problems such as not analyzing the paper correctly. I also observed that doing research takes a lot of time. I learn to manage my time properly to complete all my task. 

Findings

I found that writing a research paper is really hard. It is not easy as it requires a lot of reading and I dislike reading. I also found that getting feedback from my lecturer on how all my assignments were written was also very helping in improving my work. Other than that, I found that the research proposal is very important as it acts as a guide for the future of my research. I can always refer back to my research proposal so that when I am doing my research, I do not deviate from my topic.
