REFLECTION

Experience

As I look back on my journey through the Brand Corporate Identity course, I can't help but feel a sense of accomplishment and growth. From the outset, I knew little about branding and how to create a brand. However, as I progress through the subject, I realized that branding is a complex and intricate process that requires careful consideration and attention to detail. Throughout the course, I have gained a lot of knowledge and practical insights about branding which would be very helpful to me in the future. I am very grateful to have Ms Lilian guide me through this whole course.

Observation

Throughout the course, I observed the importance of consistency and coherence in brand identity. Branding is not just about designing logos or choosing color schemes, it involves a comprehensive understanding of a company's values, mission, and target audience. I learned how every aspect of a brand, including its name, logo, colors, typography, and overall visual representation, plays a crucial role in shaping its identity.

Findings

One of the most valuable findings from this course is the knowledge I gained on how to create a brand from scratch. Creating a brand requires an individual to put a lot of thinking into it. From identifying unique selling points to crafting brand messages and positioning, I discovered the strategic steps required to develop a successful brand. Through the various assignments of the course, I have developed practical skills in crafting brand identities, designing visual elements, and communicating brand messages effectively.
